I was fortunate enough to marry Rene´ Baron (Kellogg 1967). We have two wonderful children and 3 grandchildren. At this stage of life we spend much time with our grandchildren and children.
After Kellogg I joined the Navy, began flying, got married, received a Bachelor of Aerospace and Engineering and Mechanics degree from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology, took various flying jobs flying freight then worked for Delta Air Lines for over 25 years completing my flying career in China and Africa.
I was fortunate all those years that Rene´ raised the children and kept the home front going, including having multiple delayed holiday celebrations due to my irregular schedules.
After Kellogg, Rene´ received a business degree from University of Minnesota Crookston, was UMC homecoming Queen, became the first female manager at International Harvester, did a wonderful job raising the children, ran the household, and became a long arm quilter and received numerous awards.
We have lived on White Bear Lake for over 30 years and feel very blessed and privileged. We have good health and have weathered many trials. I waterski, snow ski, play tennis, boat, and yearly play trumpet in the Birchwood Village Fourth of July band.
