Paul is enjoying retirement in Wabasha MN living on 46 acres out in the country. He worked for NW Airlines as an aircraft mechanic for 11 years and later started his own business building experimental airplanes. In the last 25 years he has built 20 of these high performance planes walking from his house to his shop. He is also a pilot and sometimes test flies them.

He has a wife of 41 years and three boys, 29, 34, 39. Paul elk hunts with his oldest in Montana, golfs with the 34 year old who turned pro 3 years ago and enjoys flying his 29 year old's 180 Cessna (who is also a pilot). Paul likes to hunt, fish, fly and golf.
