Lynn Charles Schultz
I was married to Dan Schultz for 45 years until he passed away in 2015. We had three childre, Aaron, Jason, and daughter Stacie who died at 4 1/2 years of age.
We were both teachers, earning B.A.'s from Hamline University. In addition to teaching we were dairy farmers for 40 years. Currently my sons live adjacent to my farm and we raise 160 acres of corn and soybeans while both work full time jobs, Aaron at Praxair and Jason at Medtronic.
I've served on local county boards, leadership roles in my church and enjoy vegetable and flower gardening. There is always something to do between field work and maintaining the farm. My only livestock now is chickens. While I was impressed with the raccoon that climbed the UBS building in St. Paul, bear in mind raccoons like chicken .... enough said!
It is hard to believe it has been 50 years since I was a flexible, energetic cheerleader at Kellogg. The flexibility is gone, the energy level dwindles every year and I don't recognize that old lady in the mirror. It is good that a person can stay young at heart and wise to have very few mirrors. Looking forward to hearing how life has been for my classmates!
