Worked for State of Minnesota – Dept. of Administration & MN Planning for 30 years and 3 days.

Worked for Ecumen Senior Services for 8 years – totally learned how to retire to a cool place and made a move to Applewood Pointe Cooperative apartment in February 2018. Got in when the place was still being planned, so was able to choose all our own decor, floor plan, appliances, etc. and totally love it – 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and sunroom. On the 1st floor wo we can easily take Brooke out. Brooke = dachshound mix (border collie & Australian Shepherd). She's our 4th dachsie – other 3 were purebreds and only about 12#, so she's our big girl @ 18# and rules the house!

Erik and I are celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary in December. Missed spring break in Florida for the 1st time in 45 years due to the move.

Our greatest son Chris, daughter-in-law Ruth and granddaughter Hannah live in Houston, TX after 11 years in fabulous Austin, TX – had to move when Ruth went to work for MD Anderson Cancer Center. Chris was already commuting to Dallas from his home office in Austin, so now he commutes to Dallas from Houston. Wish we were still young and so flexible with work options!!

Looking forward to the Reunion – Erik's 50th from Ramsey was great so I know ours will be, too!
